I have been in search for a great trainer, to help me bring up my green horse. I have had a few trial and errors with a couple
trainers, but that changed when I came across Kim about 4 months ago. Kim by far has been the best trainer to me and my horse.
She doesn't focus one just one thing in our lesson, we explore many things which keeps the horse's mind busy, and mine! Kim
also has a great way of teaching, she is always patient, even at the times I am ready to explode at my horse! She also teaches
you the real way, no shortcuts of any kind! I feel that so far in those 3 months where Kim has been training me, my horse
and I have come such a long way. This gets me excited for the lessons ahead of us and the future to come!
Thanks KIM! |

About six years ago, I bought a 3 year old horse for dressage. He was green and so was I. We have gone through so many trainers
for as many reasons. Last winter I met Kim and its finally starting to come together for us. Kim is patient and, most importantly,
teaches the "right" way: no shortcuts, no quick-fix solutions. She also has provided me with reading material and other resources.
When we won both our classes at the Aperitif this spring, I knew I finally found the right trainer!
Thanks, Kim. |

I'm a beginning rider and have found Kim to be a great teacher. Instead of just telling you what needs to be done or changed
she helps you understand the why so you and the horse can become a team. It's great! |

Hello Everyone. I think that my story is little bit absurd. I came to Kim in the middle of May, 08. The reason was mostly
to get acquainted to horse riding before my vacation when I am going to have 4h horse riding tour. I have to say that my horse
riding experience was zero. After my first lesson I became insane. Kim opened the whole new world Ive even couldnt dream
or think about! Every lesson Kim teaches me how to be part of grace and beauty while riding horse!
Now, all I can do all day long is to dream about my next lesson.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Kim, for unforgettable and happy lessons!!!

I found Kim when my other instructor had to stop lessons. Kim helped me take a few steps back to build a solid foundation
which I had never developed before. That foundation is now helping me move forward with much more confidence and capability.
Kim focuses on building skills from the ground up and moves forward so that the student is continually challenged to the
extent they can safely handle. I highly recommend Kim. |

Kim is an excellent instructor and I would recommend her for anyone. She is extremely professional, personable, gentle, and
kind. She walks her talk and if you need a horse to ride she has excellent school horses. I have been riding Jilly, when I
can, for about a year and Jilly is a very patient giving horse and I have thoroughly enjoyed my lessons. |

I began a few months ago as a complete newcomer to the world of horses. I knew nothing about how to get on, stay on, or how
to correctly wrap the baffling maze of leather straps around their bodies. It was a steep and humbling learning curve. Kim
has been incredible at knowing exactly when to tell me something new, patiently repeat what I should already know, encourage
me, or push me on to more concentrated effort. I have grown more than I thought possible towards becoming a competent rider.
What makes me want to keep growing is the relationship of respect Kim fosters between rider and horse. I now have a sense
not only of what it means to be a good horsewoman but also how profound the communication between human and horse can be.
It is a sense of complete awe. If you have ever wondered what it feels like to move in grace with a horse - Kim is the one
to show you. |

I have ridden and shown in dressage and eventing off and on for many years. I also have had many riding instructors, some
of them Olympic competitors in the UK and Australia. After an 8 year break I was getting back in to riding and what attracted
me to Kim's program is her extensive education in equitation and focus on teaching. Kim has the training necessary to see
what is happening between horse and rider in the fine nuances of form and movement. She then has the knowledge to coach you
on exactly what things you can change to do better. Many talented riders who instruct do not have these tools - they are
artists who do not really know how they do what they do. But Kim's training allows her to go beyond her artistry and help
others. Kim's methods remind me books by Mary Wanless and Sally Swift. You will ride better in any discipline, and your
horse will thank you for it, if you let Kim work with you in dressage. |

I've been taking lessons with Kim for a year now, and have seen a remarkable improvement in my riding, and in my horse. I've
had several different instructors over the last 4 years, but Kim has proved to be the most skilled in communicating her extensive
knowledge of horsemanship and riding techniques. Her passion for teaching is obvious, and she continues to add to her skills
by attending clinics and other educational opportunities. I really appreciate how each lesson has a plan, and is never the
same. At most lessons we focus on a new skill for both me and my horse (who tends to get bored with just the walk, trot,
canter and reverse routine) and always revisit those skills we need to work on. She has given me great handling tips, and
confidence in my horse who can often be challenging. I strongly recommend her as an instructor/trainer, and can't wait for
my 9 yr. old daughter to take some lessons with her as well!

My daughter is taking lessons from Kim and what I really appreciate is her willingness to let her do everything. I owned a
horse for 15 years (10 years ago) and last year when my daughter showed an interest in learning about horses after a few pony
classes, I felt perfectly comfortable "teaching her the ropes" on a borrowed horse. I realize I lectured a lot and only let
her watch me do the grooming and tacking, whereas Kim is having her do it all - big difference! The same on horseback, I would
"demonstrate" far more than necessary. Besides being better qualified, she is so much better suited at teaching than I am
:-)She is patient and kind, but very consistent - the key to any good trainer. I wish I had known her when I was a young
woman and taking lessons! |

Now in my 40's, I've been riding Hunt-seat (English) since I was 10 years old. I started taking dressage lessons with Kim
a little over 1 year ago. I'm amazed at the difference it's made in my riding. I've never felt such a close connection with
my horse and so finely tuned in my communication with her. Kim is incredibly patient and understanding- a real joy to work
with. She speaks quietly and calmly, never getting frustrated or upset (as I've seen other trainers do through the years.)
I highly recommend her as a teacher/trainer. If you've never tried dressage before, or are looking to improve your riding
or relationship with horses, definately give it a try... you'll be glad you did! |

I have had horses all my life and showed competitively for 15+ years as a young girl/woman. After a break, I have started
taking lessons with Kim and enjoying riding more than ever. There is always room to grow. Kim is patient and has a knack for
knowing when to push and when to lighten up. She is very insightful and clear in her instructions. I wish I had found such
a coach as a young girl. Kim is an excellent riding instructor who has brought a new perspective to my riding. I love it. |
