Comments: Thanks for operating the Echolink node for W6E during RTE66 OTA 2009. This mode is the only means that I contact stations in the event as I have no HF facilities at home QTH. Spoke with Bernard (KE6UKY) today and really enjoyed the contact. I'll post a QSL card in the mail for the contact. 73s de VK3TKK Peter

Comments: Thanks for activating echolink on the repeater for the Route 66 Special Event. We depend on that link to work the repeater contact every year. Everyone here in Cleveland enjoys the event and makes the effort to work all of the stations. Great event and great job by your club. 73, John K8YSE

Comments: Very nice web site. I love your clock. My son is a Ham and lives in Barstow, so we were researching area clubs. I enjoy the Route 66 event every year and I participate with the 6 meter club here in Chicago at this end. When are you having upgrade classes? My son has his Novice and upgrading would be a good way to meet area hams and get active. Do any Barstow repeaters link to the WALA or WINSYSTEM? Thanks.
