James: I was blessed the day in Oct 2008 when I met your mother, Mary Louise for the first time, here at the Oaks. She is
such a joy to have as a friend.
I especially like to see her face light up when I show her this site and she immediatel begins telling me all about the people
in it and some of the background.
She is easy to like and have as a friend and enjoy talking to her, even is short conversation. |

I knew your grandmother and called her affectionately "Auntie Hemmer". My mother was a very, very close friend of hers and
I remember visiting your grandmother over the years. My mother regarded her as her "Aunt". Lena was a lovely lady and loved
her African Violets...I remember seeing them at her house. She talked about traveling to D.C. to stay when the Cherry Blossoms
were in bloom...loved her family there. Anyway, my brother told me about your site. I am Lois Conner's cousin. |
