Hi Greatuncle Elson,
This is Raymond from Germany. Dad sent me your website address and I thought I'd say hello and give you my email address.
Funny how things run in the family. Christian, my little brother, is an actor and does a lot of acting in the local theater
scene around Würzburg. I think he talked to you some years back about that. As for myself, I have been involved with the Italian
theater for some years now. Usually I do the technical stuff (lighting, sound, website etc.), but I've played the odd little
role now and then and it's always a lot of fun. Plus I've been able to hone my Italian which comes in Handy, as my girlfriend
is from Rome and we always spend some time with the family there around X-Mas.
It would be nice to hear from you occasionally and maybe even meet some day when I should have the time to come visit California.

I met Elson years ago at City College when we did plays together in the "Little Theater." I always wondered why he was so
reluctant to use his talent in the old days. Apparently, he is using it now. The website is incredible...looks like he has
found a good many talented people to work with. I always thought he had a very inventive mind...the two songs he wrote for
me in "No Where To Go" are still a couple of my favorites. |

I remember Elson Irwin from our high school days at Franklin. We were both pretty good singers, but I especially remember
him singing "I'll Walk Alone" in a production entitled "The Lone Ranger," We both went to work at Hal Roach Studios and then
I lost sight of him. I believe he preferred the writing end of it. I did ome singing in my life and have sang behind a lot
of famous people. |
