Comments: Helloooo! Roz has been keeping me informed of all the wonderful things you have been doing. It is obvious you are in the right place because you are smiling ear to ear and glowing in all the pictures. Take care of yourself and happy holidays. I was told to keep my words short. Look forward to seeing you! (PS. I am at The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano. I work with Bernadette, TEd and Shawnnah. Previous PHD employees from EPL)Sherri Long

Comments: Hey Mon! I'm excited that you have this website...and it's neat to read Jackie's comments. Hey Jackie - can I email you sometime? It sounds like we've been doing some of the same studies. Monica - thank you for your email. We love and miss you and will be thinking about you and continuing our prayers for you. It's getting very cold but warm...and then cold again out here in TX - 26 one day and 72 the next. Crazy! I think that Michael might fire me from decorating the Christmas tree. I've got about 9 strands of lights on the tree and they're all plugged into one another and running into one outlet. The lights kept flickering on and off, so I would jiggle the plug in and out of the outlet (with a little spark here and there). Finally the lights just went out. I have no desire to find the proper cord to break up the lights, so he fixed it for me. At least the house won't burn down now. Ha ha. Keep shining bright your light, Monica. Love you lots! ~Cathy

Comments: hey! I have been thinking about you. Two weeks of school down. Busy weeks! So much to learn, starting over. But fun, too. I actually have my feet on hot rocks tonight, as they are throbbing. But it is so nice to look forward to going to work every day instead of dreading it. Cowboys first game this weekend. I am going to the TX game next Saturday against Arkansas. Davene said she is planning on buying a new car in the month or so, so pray for her in this decision. I have a friend dying of cancer, so I am going to try to visit her this weekend. I start a new Beth Moore bible study on the 15th. We are doing Daniel. I think she has Esther coming out in November. I am so looking forward to that one. Talk soon, love J

Comments: Just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know I was thinking about you. This week has been crazy at school. Me and the girls went to a Huey Lewis and the News concert last night down at the Meyerson. We had a good time. I hope you are having a good week. Talk to you soon.

Comments: Tomorrow is the first day of school! Looking forward to having the kids back. First football game already Friday night, and we have a pep rally Friday morning. I am overwhelmed by how many staff we have who I have to get to know, but everyone has been so friendly and welcoming. I have been watching the Olympics the last 2 weeks-very exciting. I'll let you know how the first week goes, but I have to go to bed, so I can toss and turn all night like I do the night before school starts every year. HUGS! Jackie

Comments: Hi Monica~ Hope you are well. School is about to start again, so I am squeezing the last bit of vacation time I can get out of this last week, although I have been up to school a couple times already. It's starting to hit me that I am going to be someplace new, starting over getting to know a new staff, but it still feels like home. I completed Beth Moore's Stepping Up study this summer on the Psalms of Assent. Very interesting approach to the Psalms. Seriously look at those 15 Psalms-120-134; they are great prayer and reflection Psalms at the heart of our worship of Him. I spent most of the summer working on my duties as president of the school library state association, and I have a few loose ends to finish up before going back to work. It's been fun and I love every minute of it, but it has also been relentless. I hope I can come visit you soon. Let me know when that may be possible-remember I have time off for winter break, spring break and summer. I am truly on a quest to open libraries in Africa, too! Hope to hear from you soon.
