There is no beef...and it is about choices. I am not condemning anyone for starting a cruise of their own. I think its great.
I was mearly pointing out the obvious concerns you may face. It cracks me up how there are some of you people who actually
think I am somehow prospering from this cruise. I have the recipts to prove that I go in the hole every month with our cruise.
But that is my choice! I hope you guys enjoy yourselves and as always you are always welcomed back at Lowes as another choice.
I also heard there is a north harford cruise on every other Friday somewhere in jarrettsville (I think)......one more choice

I cannot control what comes on the lot. No one is forcing anyone to be at Lowes. So enjoy wherever i is you go. But unerstand
this. If you start getting new cars on the lot, I want to hear you explain to Dunkin Donuts why YOU are chaing its customers
away!Its great to see someone who wants to run a cruise spot. I would be more than willing to let you take over Lowes and
run it the way you want. All you had to do is ask! No sense getting all huffy and running away! By the way you forgot to tell
everyone that its the Dunkin Donuts in Aberdeen. That should help. |

a good place to get it fitted without having my pants pulled down and my wallet raided. It is a straight forward bolt on system

Jeff, I appreciate the job you do for us. I love coming and hanging with car guys and checking out their rides. I am disappointed
that some would say that only certain cars that should be allowed. While nothing can compare to a frame off resto, cars that
not museum pieces like a new GT500, Challenger, or even a WRX are special to the guys that drive them. It may make sense
for Car Shows to restrict the make or years for BUT Lowes is a cruise. Bring your car and hang with car guys. Jeff, don't
change a thing. |

Well...here comes another 2 cents worth. I just returned from your great state of Maryland while visiting my cousin,and let
me say,yous guys have a great thing going there at Lowes,and that's something that just doesn't happen here in Modesto any
longer.Yous know,hot rods gathering in a parking lot.The only time that happens out here is if it's a sanctioned meet.Now,the
other thing that doesn't happen is any vehicles newer than 1984.That's MVA rules for vintage vehicles.Newer than '84 has their
own lot.I know than when I road down from Delaware last week with my cousin Rick and his car club,we had to park his Model
A and the rest of the gang out in "civilian" parking due to the fact there were no spaces left in the "cruise" lot.We did
arrive a little late prehaps,so I suggested they come around 3pm. next time.Unfortunately I won't be there,but as I said,yous
have a good thing going for us "old school" guys and dolls ,so maybe the kids could put their toys in a seperate lot to help
ease the stress.I know that I'm an out of towner,I just thought to let yous know how we do it out here on the left coast.Hope
to see yous in the fall. |

Grumpy old mare??! I think not.It's lost it's perspective completely. Been in this county my whole life and car scene too.
In my late 50's. I've been listening and agreeing about a cut off date for years. When you add new Vettes, Mustangs, Camaros,
Challengers....well, it takes the "theme" out of the cruise. I like the new Challenger and I bet people were looking at it.
But it's new and just came out. The new Camaro will do it too, until they are a dime a dozen. Look at the new Mustang.. cool
car but man, ALL over. Look at the guys that have paid their dues redoing their cars and not going to a dealer and buying
something new. The cut off date should of happened before the cruise got started. Some hard cores say "72 and back. My opinion..as
long as it has a historic tag. Last point...people don't have to do much to a new car (maybe wheels), do they? How about the
guy who just redid a 70 Challenger from the ground up? That's what it's all about. And I praise Jeff for what he does, a great
job. You'll hear more about this I'm sure. Happy cruising. |

With reference to "FED UP"... what a grumpy old mare!! Sorry, but with comments like this... it rattles my cage! If everyone
was like him/her then no one would come see the efforts that he has put into HIS car!! I would be livid if there was a limit
on the year of car, plus with mine being a new car, it pulled in just as much attention as the classics! Why should I be restricted
from displaying my car? I have been coming since day one this year, would that be fair?
I agree, traffic getting out of Lowe's parking lot was a bit of a nightmare, but I'm from the UK and know how to use the turn
lane in the center of the main road!!
Sorry to be bashing your ear about this, but it really got under my skin!

500 cars? Half hour to get out from the traffic congestion? Limit the years. How many times does this have to be repeated?
If Lowes says no (which I wonder)tell them something has to be done. You are doing a great job but it's out of hand. Rumor
has it customers are complaining about this. This keeps up and all the cruisers will be gone. And "smart" cars? How dumb.
