Comments: Hi John; Really nice Dauntless! Hope you never stop posting your modelling exploits, I seem to have lost the desire to post much these days, still building the odd one and still fly what I've got. Latest is a Vengeance which is sort of up your alley and so far it seems to fly well. Maybe one to put on your to-do list. Doug

Comments: Wonderful models. Like you, I starting building balsa at an early age - Guillow's, Comet, Sterling, EasyBilt, Peck-P, etc - but since then have been "on & off". It seems just when I start getting good at it - I stop. Anyway, lately I have invested in quite a few models and a bunch of new "equipment" and am willing to learn new techniques. I looked at some of your build photos. I especially like the magnets as a solution to my sometimes "alignment" problems. But my question is this - about your "tail feather" builds. It looks like at times you use different sized crosses than suggested in the standrad plans in the rudder/stabilzer frames, and then sand to create airfoil shapes? My eyes aren't that good to begin with - can you explain a bit?

I"m especially interested in how you build a wing, while keeping the ribs flat on the building surface. If and when you have the time, could you elaborate on your experiences?
