The most recent are Steven Smith, Lafayettte, IN 12/06/2008. And, Gerald Smith, ISU Student, last seen in Terre Haute, Friday, May 1, 2009. Comments: I wanted to address the question of us being out of business. No, we are not out of business. Sadly many more come missing and we are doing what we set out to do and that is provide the support to Families and Law Enforcement of a Missing Adult. We only post here any new information. We cannot post each and every bit of what we are doing, as we are doing it becaue we would run out of our free webspace in no time. So, stay tuned, stay safe and by all means stay.

Comments: Hi Fellow Hoper's There are 2 IN Hope, Inc. events this weekend, Saturday to be exact. We can do both, or you can choose to do which ones you want, options are always better, in my opinion. Here is the link to the funeral Home in Sheridan, Indiana: 306 E 10th St Sheridan, IN 46069 Get Directions (317) 758-4406 January 9th, 2008 is when Stan was found behind Sam's Club in Fishers, IN. Almost 20 weeks later, Sadie will have her husband and be able to lay him to rest proper. Of course the Death Certificate states 1/9/2008, yes you are reading this correctly, 1/9/2008., Now remember Stan disappeared in August 2006 and was skeletal remains when located. But the death is 2008? I know I am born blonde, but I can add up better than than, CSI or not.! Brad's Tree Planting is 10 a.m., I will be there to meet the Landscapers at 9:30, we can make the Memorial Service for Stan, I googled and it is 45 miles. This will be Memorial Planting and the Chief and the City Councilman are doing a press release as well as I. Let me know if you are or are not attending and we can carpool! IN Hope, Heart & Faith,

Comments: God's timing is awesome, isn't it? I am thankful and grateful that Patti and her 'team' are a part of my life...Your prayers and your 'heart' are helping me as I continue this search for my daughter, Heather. In 2005, the FBI came to take my DNA, telling me that the evidence they had collected in 95 had stayed at KSP for 10 yrs. The results yielded that Heather's hair was in the Bronco. The family and the KSP refuse to allow us to search their property. We need to know where our Heather is. The widow pled the fifth after her husband 'died'. Just pray for us and maybe someday your team can help us find our Heather....

Comments: Attending the Services and Visitation for Brad Hensley over the last 2 days was, and still is, a mixture of many emotions. Grateful that Brad has been found. Grateful that Cathy, Kristin, Keith, Becky and All of Brad's Family and Friends now have the end to their searching. So many of "Our" group, those with or whom have had a Missing showed up to continue their support to our new Family. That in itself shows who were are at IN Hope. We do not leave you after 1 search or 1 phone call, we stay and continue our support no matter the time of day or the location. I am so grateful for IN Hope and all it is and has become. It will continue to grow, sadly, with new people who need us. Thankfully we will be there and bring the Hope that has been brought to us!

Comments: As the week has passed I can now try to put in to words what Scott Javins Celebration of Life meant to me. It was a Celebration indeed. Set up throughout the Mortuary were row upon rows of tables with books of picturs, awards, cards and written words of who Scott was in his short life. By the time you came upon the casket with Merv and Doreena in front of their only Child's remains, I felt I knew who Scott had been. Seeing all of his many friends, hearing the stories about Scott as he was growing up and as he was a Young Man. When all 15 of Scott's pallbearers rose up to carry Scott out of the Mortuary as Merv and Doreena followed their child, I could not contain my tears anymore. How heartbreaking to know that after 5 1/2 years of searching for their Son that this is how it would end. But an ending of this chapter in their life it was. Now the beginning of what really happened will go on. At Merv and Doreena's home the Celebration continued. Filled in the same Garage that Scott had many good times with his Family and Friends were the same, Family & Friends, new and old. Some of us who had never met Scott, and so many who did know him, as a baby through his Young Adult Life. This is a part of what we do at IN Hope. And, Merv & Doreena are and will always be a part of my Life and in My heart. We will continue to stand beside them as they continue their healing and as they continue their quest for Justice!

Comments: I was very honored, along with Missy Dietz to attend Jack's Celebraton of Life last evening. What a Life Jack led. It seems he lived Life to the fullest and by the stories I heard from his Friends and Family he touched many lives throughout his long life. I may not have met Jack personally, but I feel now that I did come to know who he was, especially to his Grand Daughter Nancy, his Son and Daughter, as well as his many friends. I lit the cigar last evening in our Hotel room, Missy had never lit one, so as we were on the phone with Nancy we puffed a very good cigar! I also re lit it on my travel back up here to Delphi! I actually enjoyed it as I drove up Interstate 65! The looks I got made me chuckle. Here is a 51 year old female driving a little Honda Civic just puffing on a stogie. I would have actually enjoyed being pulled over by the Police if they thought I was smoking a funny cigar, because then I could have shared Jack's story, and the smell would have been obvious. Sometimes a Cigar is just a Cigar! Of course the State Police could have confirmed the story of Jack, as I had/have his NCIC number on my passenger seat in the binder with his flyers. Just had to share that funny.
