I grew up next door to where the Embassy was built. I wondered if the spring is still down the basement on the right side
facing Beverly Rd. During the St. Patick's Day flood, people in the neighborhood came there with containers to get fresh
water. It had been a spring house originally for the Abbott family who owned the property. |

I enjoyed the Embassy tour. My mother was a resident at Asbury (United Meth. Home) for ten years. The apartsments seem to
follow with the fine quality that has always been Asbury. |

If the other tenants who have computers and e-mail would like to do it,maybe you could compile a directory of tenants with
their apartment numbers and e-mail addresses so we can contact each other.you should also put a message board on the website
in case you or the office or other tenants can communicate with each other. Apt.27. |

I was very pleasantly surprised by this web site.
The design of the site is nice. I would recommend using a more friendly name for the site like http://embassy.is.dreaming.org/
(By the way the above hyperlink is active). May be it would be better to implemet the sound as a wave file instead of the
Real Player format - it gives very often errors at the client site and not everybody is using Real Player.
Again, the site is great and congratulation for the good work !

This is a great idea,especially to contact fellow tenants and tell others about the building.Maybe the management can put
on there some facts about the building,like any historical information in the files or old photos of the building or old brochures
or memories of the building from older tenants.Do the original drawings of the building exist and who was the architect? I'm
sure a lot of us tenants have computers and are on the Internet so we can share a lot of information .I hope everyone uses
it and it can be kept up to date. |
