Check out our website (www.danvillediscgolf.com) for the course we have been building in Danville, VA! We just had our 7th Ice Bowl with 54 players. Us old timers are still hanging in there promoting the sport. Contact us if you get in our area. Fly freely!

Comments: You are right Kenny, another course. I have been working on new baskets and have been walking the new property a bunch. I am pretty sure that it is going to be a course that a lot of people probably won't like. It will be at least a par 66 or 68. Some really different pin placement. The river will come into play for sure.

Comments: Hey, Johnny! I read your "One in a Million, plus" and really enjoyed the photos. I, too, have had this happen before (only once in 15 years). It was on hole 9 at Veterans Park in Arlington, TX during the Veterans Park Open...probably 1994 or 1995. The disc did the same thing yours did...and came to rest, upside down, balancing on the rim. We all looked at the disc dumbfounded for a second...then I realized I better run up and grab it before the wind blew it off! Great story and photo to back it up! Take care, Jerry Gotcher PDGA 7956

Comments: it was one of my greatest pleasures to meet johnny [mr. discgolf] sias a couple of years ago. it was an instant liking of johnny by myself and my oldest son john. we have since enjoyed playing his home course, rotary park course, meeting his wife adele, and keeping tabs on he and his activities. we also got stuck in a flooded forked run state park which we did not enjoy as much.we hope for many more years of conversing and playing disc golf with johnny.
