Yesterday was such a hard day learning that you were no longer here with us and that there was no longer a chance that you
would come back. I have so many questions about what happened but in the end I am glad that you are at peace and that you
really are home. Last night I could not sleep so I searched for pictures of you and I found so many. I know that you were
with me because while I was searching I found a box of childhood and high school memories that I had been searching for for
3 years. I had looked everywhere for that box and was devastated because I thought all of those memories were lost forever.
But last night as I was moving and digging through boxes looking for pictures it was as if you put it there, right in front
of me so that I would find it. Everything that I was missing was there including so many memories that we shared. I love

Ellen and Sharon's dad passed away. He had heart surgery and was home doing well, but yesterday he collapsed and the EMT couldn't

I showed a movie in Spanish class yesterday about a boy and his mother who were separated and hadn't seen each other in four
years. It's called "Under the Same Moon" and the boy tells a friend that his mother tells him when he goes to bed each night
to look at the moon and be happy because they are under the same moon and know that they are watching it at the same time.

Thanks, Brian. I get confused, too, between west and east time zones. I once called a friend in Germany thinking it was the
right time to call and it was 3 or 4 a.m. in Germany!? My friend was very pissed that I woke him up, but I will call you.
It looks like the sonar search of the lake is going to happen any time now, maybe this week. I'll let you know. I don't expect
that they will find anything, but bless them for trying. Sonar will send pictures to the monitor in the boat, but if the visibility

Thanks to all who have sent messages to Mike. Keep visiting his guestbook for any news. We are still waiting for the Vermont
State Police to call NYSP to come to the lake with their sonar equipment. We expected this to happen with the Spring thaw,
but for some reason VSP has not made the call. It is very frustrating and if there is anyone who has contacts in Vermont who

Vermont State Police divers searched Spring Lake this past week. It was extremely difficult and dangerous for them. I don't
understand how mountain lakes are fed, but because of the nature of them they are very difficult to see anything because the
silt on the bottom is rising up and makes it very hard to see. This is the eighth or ninth search of the grounds and now into
the lake itself. If what Starr has told us is correct, you read these messages. If you really do read them, please let us
know so that we can stop these searches. We will never stop looking for you until you tell us to stop. There have been times
when we have had to risk our personal safety by going places that the police would not go, like the river bottom in Ventura
when homeless people sicked their dogs on me, or risked the safety of the VSP divers just this past week. I'm not complaining,
but I am asking you to contact us. I don't want these wonderful, dedicated people to get hurt under any circumstance, but
especially if you don't want us to find you. Just tell us and we'll hope and pray that you'll come home when you're ready...

I'm back from Albany and the conference was very informative. The new TV series about the missing is called "Lost and Found",
but I'm unsure when it will begin or if it will even make it to TV. We'll see... Overall things are improving and more national
attention and support from the Feds is online. Everybody asks about you and sends their love...

Good morning, Mike. Today is March 30, 2009. Not much to say... Weekend was like any other... Weather is on the cool side,
maybe it will get up into the 50's... Hope for the Missing is next Saturday in Albany. The missing persons expert who is collaborating
with the producer/writer of "Law and Order" to do a new series about missing persons is going to be there to talk to us.
Hopefully your story will be a future episode... Guess I'll get back to doing some work... Love to you from all of us...

Where ever you are I believe you are alive and pray that you will once again be in contact with your family and those who
love you. The pain your absence has brought is beyond comprehension.
I have searched for you in Vermont with your Mom. I have watched your family struggle to go on without you. Children have
been born, relatives have died and we have aged. I have read your Dad's entries highlighting the time that has passed with
one life event after another. Your siblings have grown up! The years have gone and still no word.
Please Michael your family needs to hear from you. Their love is unconditional and their arms are always open.

Not a day goes by in my life that i dont think about you. I am 22 now, I was graduating high school at age 18 when you
disapeared. You were supposed to come to my graduation. I work for SAIC now, it is a government contractor and I'm very
happy there and I do well for myself. I still live at home but, will move out in 2010 probably. I have a girl friend named
Lauren that I've been with for almost 3 years now, she is great you would love her. I miss you very much and would give anything

Today was a fun day at work. I'll tell you more about it tomorrow, but I wanted to let you know ahead of time and hope that
your day was fun for you, too. When I got home, Emily and I washed her car and did some maintenance checks. Her car is Grammy's
'98 Civic. Gram gave up driving about three or four years ago. At 92 she is amazing... still reading novels, working the
