Comments: Dear Nemer family, First I want to thank Rob for sending me the site address. Brenda this was a moving tribute to a man who deserved it all and more. You have a great talent and did a wonderful job. Moo Moo is smiling down on you for this one! Growing up with Rob and Bill, I frequently spent time with Moo Moo. Most of my memories are around baseball and football games and banquets as Bill and I were on teams together. I remember when Moo Moo talked me into joining the Elks. He wanted me in so I would be the youngest member in the state, possibly the nation he said. While I didn't find it as rewarding as most, I did go a few times. I remember one time with Moo Moo clearly. I was riding with Moo Moo and Bill and who knows who else was with us on a baseball game drive to Orono for a game against Old Town-Orono Legion. I was going to be a sophomore and Bill was going to be a senior. Moo Moo was passing cars like they were standing still. I guess we were late! He'd pull out to pass a car at least 500 yards ahead. Bill started giving him a hard time about pulling out so early when he wasn't even near the car yet. Of course Moo Moo had an answer for Bill. He said, as I remember it, with his grin he always wore, "You know I'm on the road driving all the time. So I know firsthand that if I don't pull out soon enough to get the other guy's attention, he'll never see me coming. He won't know Maroon Nemer was in the area until I've gone by and it's too late!" Bill was dumbfounded and didn't know how to answer. Not too many people had the knack of silencing Bill! Did they my friend? To all in the Nemer family, especially Rob & Bill, both of whom at times I was very close to, I wish you well and I salute you in your tribute to Moo Moo. Sincerely, Steve

Comments: What a wonderful tribute to a terrific man. I was very honored and fortunate to have been installed as Exalted Ruler in 1992 by Brother Moo Moo. The Ritual of Installation performed by Moo Moo has to be the most memorable and inspirational that I have ever seen. There is no doubt that Brother Moo Moo has made a lasting impression on us all.

Comments: It is fitting that Moo Moo's other daughter (Robin) be the first to sign this guest book! First of all, Brenda, you did a great job on this website! I know that everyone who knew "The Great Moo" will enjoy visiting here. Dad, it is comforting to know that you are in a better place now, and free from pain. We know that you look down on us with pride and with that big smile on your face! You always made us very proud too! We miss you very much and our world here is not the same without you. But we know we will see you again, so save us all a place! And put in a good word for those of us who need it! I love you, Dad! (I've said it before and I'll say it again....YOU ARE MY HERO!!) Robin
