My first car was a 1947 plymouth just like yours,a 4dr. It was my moms until my dad and i put dual carbs/aluminum head & dual
exhaust / Mom didn't want it anymore,thus it became mine.Used to out run the flathead fords/ lotts of fun |

Love your car. My dad bought a 48 new. It was the car I learned to drive in. Dad sold it for 100 dollars in the late 80's,
and I always wondered what happened to it. I found it the other day only 20 miles from home and now I am buying it back for
a $100. But I am afraid it might be beyond repair. But I am bringing it back home anyway. Someday I hope to try and fix it
up but I am afraid it might be to far gone. |

Love your site, I own and drive an auto transport truck. In Ohio I found a 1948 P-15 and just had to have it. So when he
said 500.00 my eyes poped out of my head and I bought it and carried it around the country till I got home. Now time to start
on it. Car is really nice and just needs cleaning up but I want to restore it completely. wish me luck. and send me your e-mail

A black 1947 Plymouth was our first family car circa 1954.
I was four years old, it had a heater hanging under thec passenger side of the dahboard.
I have fond memories of that car. |

I have a '47 Ply Business Coupe. It was given to me in '74 when I was 15 from my great aunt who bought new after the war.
I can remember as a kid standing behind the front seat as she drove around town. I love that car, almost more than my own
children.

I have a 47 special delux 4 door. The car has been in the family since the early 70's when my dad picked it up for $400 and
has been kept inside (for the most part) since. I'm in the process of restoring it now. |

I had a p15 special delux with rear suicide door's I paid 3000.00 for it in 1996 and put It on a layaway plan with the owner
. when I got it I spent all of my money on it . my mom and dad loved the car thay said that it keeped me out of trouble. got
hit head on that year and I miss that car bad . if you have some info on another for sale at a bargan let me know I will fly
