Comments: How interesting to read about the organ. My grandmother Martha Glasgo played the organ and I can remember as a little girl (before I started school) sitting beside her while she played for Mass. And, my great-uncle Hubert Turner also played it, I was told that when the church was being cleaned and the Blessed Sacrament had been removed he played the "Boogie Woogie" on it and Father Spicuzza applauded when he was finished. I graduated from Annunciation in 1956.

Comments: Loved reading the history. My family has 4 generations buried in St. Marys cemetary in Diamond. I have very fond memories of attending mass @ St Marys and Annunciation. Father Spicuzza was a very special person

Comments: Very nice site Ed and quite an opportunity for growth. The history of Annunication was amazing to read and what a history it is! You definitely need to have this website listed in the parish websites for the Archdiocese.

Comments: I just logged on to read some more of the church history and happened to have ths sound on. What a surprise to hear "On Eagles Wings" being sung, even though it makes me cry, it is my favorite hymn. I listened to it twice and may sign on everyday to hear it. Marty Forsythe

Comments: I would really like to get on the history website of the parish/send a message to the church website listed in the article in the paper, but I'm told they are not there. Can you help? Grew up in Annunciation Parish. Marty Forsythe
